It has been brought to my attention by certain parties with dead fish eyes, that upon the conclusion of our initial disastrous encounter with the hags and their menagerie, that I may have had the good sense to admit there was no way to defeat the hags, and suggested we give up on the venture and continue our trek to White City. But, while the impossibility of winning our initial attack was clear, the weight of the lives of the good people of Skor weighed heavily, on this nobles benevolent heart. Yes, as heavily as those hotcakes and bacon from the town inn weighed in my stomach, and their plight compelled me to look for another way for victory. Or at least follow the lead of my more seasoned comrades as they proposed preparations and strategies to defeat the hags AND live.
