Darcani Pseudodragon
History
Adventures, records, and studies from Auriga have found no other record of a populace of these creatures elsewhere and because of their differences from the Aurigan native species, it is believed that these creatures are Realmwalkers. Elder Scribes that had bonded with some of the older pseudodragons learned through thier telepathic bonds that droves of pseudodragons had escaped the "waves of moving void" and were following the last scents of magic they could find. After gathering accounts from many of the creatures, historians and scribes concluded that they had been looking for a haven not realizing their world was falling to the Void and had actually magically tracked down thin Veils, the last of the magic of their world which connnected to Auriga. From visions of where many had ended up, it is assumed that the Veils left them stranded at the higher peaks of Dragon's Spine and many had died on their hazardous travel back to warmer environments. Eventually, whatever was left of them, followed a magical scent to the borders of the Whisperwind Woods and happened to come across the ancient archway that had revealed itself to them and thus led them to Darcanis.Attitude
A social creature by nature, these pseudodragons tend to be outgoing, friendly, and quite adventurous with many interested in the activities of humanoids than with the day to day life with their own kind. After some time, an adventurous pseudodragon will come to leave their family unit to venture out into the realm to either find a humanoid companion, a mate, or a new family and expand their social circle.A Place in the World
As they are quite insightful creatures, Darcani pseudodragons will avoid the company of those they deem selfish and cruel and instead seek out those with well-meaning intent. Once settled on someone and after the bond is accepted by both, the pseudodragon will accompany their bondmate for life in addition to lending them their abilities. However, if a pseudodragon realizes it has been tricked or if the person begins to act cruel (whether to the pseudodragon or to others), it will break the bond and leave at the next opportune moment. As these pseudodragons tend to not want to leave the realm and borders of Darcanis, they will avoid bonding with an adventurer that has come by temporarily or even a Temple initiate unless they have taken up permanent residence within the realm. That doesn't mean to say that they are not friendly, merely that they will neither extend nor accept a magical tethering bond if the other party intends to leave the realm. However, it is worth noting that there are a few exceptions such as traveling clerics who return every other season taking their pseudodragon with them and those heading on short term expeditions. For those who leave and intend to take a creature with them, the spell Create Familiar is used in all cases in order to send the pseudodragon back to Darcanis should anything go wrong.A Different Purpose
Through the years and after many generations in the realm, the pseudragon population has grown and flourished; and they are well known by the people in the land, with many coming to revere the tiny creatures that may one day show up and do nothing but wish to become part of the family, even assisting with small things in their day to day lives. Because of the kind treatment shown to them overall, many pseudodragons venture out to assist those in the land that had let them turn the forest into their home. However, it in the Temple of Darcanis where many have come to find a new purpose dedicated to both aid and knowledge. In the halls of the Temple from one side of the campus to the other, pseudodragons can be seen assisting clerics, scribes, initiates, mages, adventurers, and more from simple tasks of navigating the area to finding the book they need in the vast expanses of the legendary library or even conversing with them telepathically and being an avid listener to their tales. More often than not, the majority of pseudodragons can be seen in the great library towers of the Temple either maintaining order of the catalouge, assisting initiates with finding what they need, or keeping watch over guarded aisles and sections. They are regarded as keepers of the tomes along with Temple librarians and are just as eager to learn and read as any other that tends to the library.Speculative Theory
Some circles of researchers who have dedicated themselves to finding others from the world of this pseudodragon theorize that they are actually the dragons of their fallen world as they share more in common with the dragons of Auriga than with pseudodragons. It is as of this century that rumors have been whispered about "Darcani Dragons"-- the nickname given to the pseudodragons by those who hold this belief about them.Appearance
Unlike the pseudodragons of Auriga, those that came to find their home in Darcanis have a very metallic sheen to their scales and come in very warm colors or darker versions of chromatic dragon colors.Biology

The way you are showing off all the different colors they can be is really cool, and it gives a nice idea of what their scales might look like :D They sound like real fun critters, and a library full of them flitting around being librarians is just wonderfully evocative :D
