Peoples of Astraeus Falls (As-TRAY-us)

Sheriff Fjordan Kam

by Mara Jaena (Artbreeder)
In charge of law enforcement in the town, Kam was the one who the Wayfinders quickly allied with-- though this caused further headaches for the sheriff the more trouble they uncovered in the town such as a cult, a rift, assassins, and underwater ruins. However, the one that caused him the most trouble-- the Cult of the Six-Eyed Queen-- forced him to take up his locked away blades, one rife with divine magic, the other with necrotic.

While able to relate a bit more to Reylan due to their shared pasts at having both trained at Darcanis, he doesn't share the same fond-like memories she does as he sees his failure of the trial proof of his inability to succeed at something greater. This, however, does seem to have led him down a darker path leading him to be double-pacted with both Kerythae and one of her 'Daughters'.

Mayor

While not initially present for the beginning of the festival, she arrived just in time to hear that the Wayfinders had blown up a ruin having discovered something they assumed was harmful in the depths. She was the one who awarded.

Balthazar Kresh

Former owner of the Manor Hill property, Balthazar and his wife lived in the manor for quite some time until it is said that he sailed away and never returned. Traveling back in time, some of the Wayfinders encounter the couple in the past.

Belen Kresh

Formerly; aka The Widow Wife and Lady of Manor Hill, it was revealed in the trip through time that Belen (of the family Songspitter) owned most of the lands that made up Astraeus Falls and that it was she that held the wealth while Balthazar held his own power. It was Belen's spirit that was tied to Widow's Rest that was freed shortly after the Wayfinders returned and helped Balthazar break the contracts with Esmeralda.

Paradas

A tiefling merchant known for selling odds and ends though really what he is known for is his ability to tap into blood magics, though he only reveals that to those he deems he can understand.

Rupert

Seen at the Temple of Rest, it is this monk-like religious person that prompts Gideon to break away from the party to seek out a different solution to his problem. Reylan is able to suss out that he is part of what seems to be a secret order devoted to breaking oaths and perhaps pacts-- though Rupert does not give too much away only mentioning to the others that the gods or the divine they follow are not as reliable as they believe.

Doommaul Family

A family of orc farmers that live up in the higher hills of Astraeus Falls that takes in the orphaned half orc nullmaiden girl that had been abandoned at sea.
