Reylan's Research Notes
Upon meeting Reylan in the Bard's College, the adventuring party including their captain and the bard historian met with her to discuss whatever she had found during her research throughout the night. From a quick glimpse of her table, while the area was covered with scrolls and books there was just a snippet of things she had pulled and kept in a visual line of sight or immediately around her.
Upon a quick review, she was able to review the following: The Wastes, Darkfalls, and Port Cities.
~ not explored much by Bard's college; but notes on cities on coasts such as Eastview and Bleak
~ calamity befell the lands-- no exact cause known in lore or history, magical blight
~ known to have abberations and other creatures wandering as well as humans trying to eke out hard life in the wastelands; known pilgrimage path?
~ great temples all throughout though some locations lost to time and more research needed locally
~ Darkfalls: site of Great Temple of Valyrhn; can gain information on Korbal and locations of other Great Temples in the area
~ there is Blight Falls similar to blight seen
~ fortress city toward bottom right toward Confederated States
~ Known site of the Great Temple of Valyrhn
~ most likely can get research into other celestial beings should the others need
~ it is named this because of the dark water that spews from behind the mountain top from another plane-- notes indicate further research was not done on this and it is unexplored
~ Use title to browse the books and do research into locations that are needed for the other Great Temples of gods/goddesses or other holy sites that may house information
~ Areas around Darkfalls may border on the lands of other great temples as a cluster were known to be in the area
~ Ask for resources that can be granted on site

"Curious about my birthplace?" he asked.
"Ah yes! About that-" Reylan replied as she slipped out the piece of paper buried under one of her borrowed books, the ink well enough dried so that there were no smear marks made as she did so.
She gave the page a once over before handing it to him.
"As it's been a long while from when you'd left," she explained, "I wanted to know about its current state. Does its influence spread to other areas? Is the leadership seeking to expand or are sending out emissaries due to the current state of that part of the world?"
She observed Gideon as his eyes scanned the note. "This information is recent as of this year. They seem to adhere to their borders and judging from how cursory noted its culture was in the recent records I obtained, it seems that all the past knowledge the college had along with its history has been well documented.
"I figure that's some good news as well as that there is no known problems of rifts, so I doubt we will ever hear of problems that would take us there."

~ the higher up they are, the closer to the gods
~ people who do not live on plateaus are considered second citizens-- research indicates more like the outcasts
