Floating above the Siren Sea lays a series of islands set floating in the sky. At first thought, a myth by those sailing below the floating islands would be covered from the clouds that cover the inland sea so frequently. But as the corners of the map of the world became more filled in by cartographers, the existence of the floating islands was made real.
I set of thirty islands varying in size from the largest Seraphia which sits several miles across from end to end. To the smaller almost town-shaped islands with scarcely anything on them.
The first few attempts at the exploration of the islands met with varying degrees of failure. With many not even reaching the heights to land on the islands.
But the rush for exploring had begun once the cartographers and bards guild had gained word of them.
It ended up being neither from either group that first laid claim to the floating islands, but a rather enterprising gnomish man named Tiberius Hammond. Sent up an airship filled with adventures he had hired to land on the largest island before the other entities could make a purchase, using the muscle of his hired adventures he laid claim to the islands as his own stopping others from exploring. What did he do with this pristine land filled with ancient treasures and beasts?
He opened a hotel.
The Floating islands resort and adventure experience is the premier destination for relaxation in a place away from the rest of the world.
The island boasts a beautiful jungle scenery in pristine condition, as well as a massive resort built atop of a waterfall that falls from the island down to the water below. Fully staffed with everything from private cooks to personal butlers for rooms.
But the real draw for some is the adventure experience, personally curated by Tiberius himself. The experience takes those not use to adventuring and takes them along one of many paths in the island recreating the adrenaline fueled exploration of a new and undiscovered land on the island. Where fair and local maidens await saving from savage jungle beasts and rituals. Where deadly puzzles hide lost treasure in temples, and unknown horrors in the jungle that you can hunt..or will you be hunted.
But do not worry, the experience you are accompanied by skilled vetran adventures...and accidents are..infrequent.
