The Hospital of Fates

There are some places in the world that lie in the shadow of death and on the edge of destruction. It is in these places that the Hospital appears.

Architecture

On the outside, the hospital looks like any ordinary building on the street and blends in so seemlessly that almost all- even those native to the area- believe that it had been there before. However, for those more magically attuned to their surroundings and even those with the slightest bit of rygyra, they are quite aware if the hospital is new to the area and can feel a strong aura of protection around the exterior without any use of spells.   Once one enters, it is clear that the hospital is enchanted in some way and is anchored to the exterior via some form of dimensional magic as the building is much larger on the inside. Walking around, from one ward to the next, the sigil of Valkeryth can be seen clearly on each entryway.

Treatment

While the hospital is a place for all clerics of various religions, all of them are dedicated to preserving life and work toward that common goal. From treating something as simple as a seasonal sickness to severe infection, either a well-trained medical officer or a cleric will provide further treatment.   Besides the more physical aspects of injury and sickness, the hospital is known to also treat mental trauma, with some severe cases requiring intricately designed and agreed upon Modify Memory to allow an individual the time needed to heal mentally. Though all cases are well-documented, the staff keeps most treatment plans to themselves and approaches each case with a pair of fresh eyes.

Underlying Purpose

While the hospital appears in places that are in dire need of assistance, it serves a secondary purpose: to gather information and act as a doorway if needed. Though many clerics reside within the hospital because of their belief in its goals, there are also War Clerics present that are ready to rush to the defense of the hopital, its patients, or its visitors. Should the anchor point of the hospital be destroyed by high level magic, the hospital will lose its doorway in that city.
