Dream Seeds

Dream seeds are found inside the bodies of any creature that is native to Duende, though they are not found in the bodies of the races that came from beyond the realm such as Humans. They are also found in the bodies of the offspring of those native creatures. These dream seeds contain the essence of the creature and grow in power relative to their host. Thus, more powerful creatures contain more powerful dream seeds.

Dream seeds are more than simple powerful crystals. They contain the information and energy of the creature they were bonded to. It has been speculated that they are a material representation of the creatures soul, though many dismiss that idea. Regardless, it is possible to use dream seeds to imbue items with properties of a creature, to bind a creature by placing a sigil upon their dream seed, or even use the power of the creature to augment the wielder's own power.
