Influence

Influence is the attempt to manipulate a creature, regardless of motives, to be more amenable to some suggestion or idea. Of course, the creature you are attempting to influence is going to be more or less susceptible to your attempts. This plays out as a conflict between the wielder's ability against the target's mental defenses. The difficulty of getting a target person or creature to do what you wish is determined by the combination of their disposition towards the wielder and their own natural mental fortitude. See Conflict Resolution
