Life

Born to a family with no high status and no true connections, she lived her early life in humble beginnings. Her mother and father co-owned a tailor shop on a small island town in the Fire nation. While young she was very much aware of her family's sinking conditions due to her mother's deteriorating health and in her own time had learned how to sewing and design clothing, using this skill to take over her family's business during a period of time where her mother fell gravely ill and her father had to become her caretaker. She worked night and day till she no longer could keep her eyes open, running a business by herself while also bettering it. At age 13, she had expanded the family business into becoming more widespread within the nation and bringing more income into the family. During this time, she has yet to even know she was capable of fire bending till she encountered an accident that could have ended her life short. Tripping off the side cliff while heading back to her hometown, she was able to catch herself using the force of one giant fire burst to soften the blow and landing on her back with a few bruises and scratches as evidence of the accident. She didn't speak of it to anyone and kept her mouth shut while she learned on her own time, away from other's eyes. Upon reaching the age of 18, she handed off the work of the business to her father as they were able to afford a proper caretaker for her mother. She enlisted herself into the military believing that her efforts are better put there. She spent the first year climbing the ranks and was able tobecome Sergeant by the age of 19. She saw herself as a valuable part and pushed that belief, ending with her achieving what she believed was well earned. She spent the next year of her life traveling as a Sergeant of the Fire Nation Military and meeting new people. One of the many people she met was Kioko, who has established an island on Earth King land and was later invited to live on it after bonding with her and others such as Ukari of the Water Tribe and Bikhi, an Air Nomad. Along with those, she meets with many other Earth King people, such as Fon, Li and Run and those within her own nation such as Eineya, Akuza and Akrasia. Her year of meeting new people, exploring the world and practicing her bending came to an end as she found herself once again promoted to Lieutenant of the Fire Nation Military as she reached the age of 20. Soon after, while on a break from her duties she visited Ba Sing Se for her getaway and while in the company of Sergeant Fon she had a run in with Captain Hong. She didn't think much of their introduction, putting him as an acquaintance, and nothing more. Though as she began to spend conversing with Hong over the days she found herself in a spot she didn't expect as she became attached to him but she didn't expect their relationship to go beyond friends as she was oblivious to his emotions as well. That was until he proposed to her, which she happily accepted and was now officially engaged to Hong and soon after married to him as well. Within the same year as her marriage and her previous promotion to Lieutenant, she was promoted once again to Major of the Fire Nation Military before turning 21. During this year she became closer to Natsuko, a much younger individual within the military and became both a motherly and mentor figure to him within the military. She soon learned of his current position, being left without a family and took it upon herself to officially adopt him as her own with the agreement of Hong who trusted her choice. After that, she spent the majority of the year focused on the military and working endless hours to improve it when one day she was approached by Fire Lord Kozoku on his plans to step down and offered her to take his place as his successor. She accepted his offer with honor and as she reached the age of 22 she was officially crowned Fire Lord by the sages and plans to continue her reign with the intent of bettering the nation now in her care.
