Maisha is the magical essence that is found in many fruits, fungi and vegetation throughout Melior.
Magic feels like energy: if your reserves are low it's a bit like feeling too tired to perform a spell or enchantment. This fatigue does not interrupt physical energy and tiredness, and a being wil not feel more tired for being low on magic reserves. Intelligent beings may start to feel a magic hunger which will urge them towards consuming foods rich in Maisha.

There are many flavours of magic in the realm of Melior. In other realms and planes, magic may work slightly differently with regard to resources, energy, and power.
