4. Head into the left side room

Grim steps through the left archway and enters what looks like a dining room. He approaches the table, running his fingers along its smooth surface, studying its design's faded elegance. Eight empty chairs around it, their upholstery frayed and threadbare from years of neglect. A grand chandelier hangs from the ceiling, its crystals dull and lifeless in the dim light.   Grim trudges through the dining room, out into a hallway, and into another room. The kitchen. Here, too, the passage of time had left its mark. The once-bustling heart of the home now lay silent and still, its counters empty and its cupboards bare.   Grim's gaze sweeps over the faded remnants of a life once lived. A stove cold and unused against one wall, its burners covered in a thick layer of grime. An empty sink beneath a cracked window, the glass fogged with age. A broken plate on and a forgotten toy on the floor.   As Grim lingers in the kitchen, his thoughts are interrupted by a sudden movement in the corner of the room. He turns to see a rat scurrying across the floor, its eyes glinting in the dim light as it disappears into a hole in the wall.   The dining room and kitchen hold no secrets, and so, with one last lingering glance around the room, he turns and makes his way out of the left-wing, cutting his connection to you. He will search for Alema by himself.
