Marth's
They have tea from places I've never heard of before...and of course the tried and true silver drop tea that you like. This shop has existed in this building for the last 124 years. This is the oldest shop on this block. One of the current owners is the great-grandchild of Marth, the Iedoloni who started the shop. This shop sells tea, tea bags, and other tea paraphernalia. They also sell ice-cold or piping-hot tea drinks to go. During weekends they also sell biscuits, cookies and sandwiches with the takeaway tea. The store sits between a yarn store and private apartments and across the road from a Police Box in a small commercial area in a largely residential zone.
The building
Like all buildings on the third levels on The Station it only has 2 floors. The store resides on the lower floor, and the upper floor consists of a tiny rest area for the employees, a small stock room, and the small apartment of the two owners. Across from the entrance is the door to a bathroom and an elevator to the top floor. Only the owners and the employees have access to the elevator. The store
In the middle of the room of the shop sits a shop assistant's desk where takeaway orders can be picked up. Around the walls are floor-to-ceiling cases full of exotic teas. Other tables and desks are scattered around the room with tea paraphernalia and teas for sale. Like all other stores in The Station, items can be ordered for pickup or shipment and payment through the shops site.Origin
A Iedoloni named Marth arrived alone to The Station 132 years ago. They had nothing when they arrived and worked hard to earn enough money to start their own small store. They met a partner a year after starting the shop and settling down in the small apartment above the store.Opening hours
The shop is open 10am to 6pm every day. The owners work the weekends and 3 week days and they have a university student that works the other days.Employees
The university student works the two last days off the week. They have also hired their son to take care of their stockroom at the dock. He works a couple of hours a day on weekdays where he transports wares between the store and the stockroom. He also transports orders from the site from the stockroom or the store to the shipping center. Usually, stores pay a fee to have the shipping company fetch the packages, but this family prefers to do it themselves like they have always done it.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
