Waela Museum
Oh, a museum! ...Who is Waela? I have never heard of them...I think. The Waela Tintitoe Museum is a small museum celebrating a person who was never as famous as their work. They were an artist and a scriptwriter who, in their youth, created an animation that became famous enough to spread to other planets. They later joined a production company that created several hits throughout their entire life. Waela created their first animated short story while they were in art school around 81 years ago. They posted it on a site platform for videos. This site was new, and not many people knew about it. This animation spread outside of the platform and thus also spread the video platform to mainstream consciousness. Waela's take on the The two youths legend became famous, and Waela got hired by a large animation company. They created animations and art until their death 8 years ago.
The Building
The museum is located in The Station in the Monochrome section on level 3. Its address is Silver Drop Street 98. It's close to the BeyondDreams Cinema, a cinema that showcases animations regularly, a corner store and a Police Box. This Building used to be Waela's home but is now an art museum showcasing their art, stills from animations, some diary entries, parts of scripts for animations not completed, some old discarded scripts, and many other items. While this was not the small home that Waela grew up in, it was the home they bought for their family after being an artist for several years. The building has two floors, the upper and lower floors. The large room at the bottom is a living room and kitchenette. The walls contain art and stills from animations. It is possible to pick up art prints physically while in the museum and bring them home. Or have them shipped. The art prints must be ordered and paid for on the site before the appointment. The elevator door and the lower-floor bathroom are across from the entrance door. The upper floor contains a small hallway and three bedrooms. The two rooms that used to be Waela's children's rooms now display items and information related to Waela's work and art. Meanwhile, the master room looks like it did when Waela was alive.Opening hours
