Ruins of Mist

There's....something very off about this place. I can't really place the feeling.

These are the ruins of the original village of Mist. The population of this village according to old records contained a population of over 5748 people and only a handful of people survived. These people were very tightlipped about what had happened to the village and kept the secret to their graves. Only saying that they were attacked by creatures from the dark.
The government wanted to rebuild the village right away after the attack, but the 9 remaining villages refused and stated that the village had to stay ruined. Nothing was allowed to be moved otherwise another greater destiny would befall the island. The government relented and the village was rebuilt a little bit behind the ruins of the old village.
