Human Sphere

The Human Sphere was the stargate network built by humanity during the Second Interstellar Period, so named because humans were the dominant (though by no means the only) species within it, and it had yet to encompass other spacefaring civilizations of equal power, like the Starweb has in the Unified Era.

Former Human Sphere systems were incorporated into the expanding Starweb as the Dark Ages ended, though it is likely that even to this day some worlds remain lost.
