Cubist Missile Crisis

One of the closest brushes humanity had with nuclear warfare. Historical records are fragmentary, but a best-guess reconstruction can be attempted:
In 1962 A.D., during the presidency of Janef Kendy, Chay Kivara recruited Pablo Pakasso and Andi Warhall to to design his new T-shirt line in exchange for a nuclear bomb. The Ancient American government, alarmed by the creation of the first nuclear apocalyptic art piece not far from its shores in Cue-Bah, sent the military to intervene, where it confronted its Soviet Russian counterparts, allies of Kivara and his fellow Cubists. The standoff nearly resulted in atomic war, however a Soviet Russian sailor named Vasili Arkhipov refused to launch his missiles.
Contrary to popular belief, he was not assisted in this action by the Beatles in their atomic-powered yellow submarine.
