Jackhopper

A type of feral drone found on many planets in the wake of the Age of Strife, jackhoppers resemble oversized five-foot mechanical locusts sporting a pair of gleaming sharp mandibles. Typically armed with two or more Gauss guns, they fly with lift fans built into their wings and are known for being quite vicious under their normal programming. It is theorized jackhoppers started out as war drones developed during the Second Interstellar Period which were spread to various locations before turning feral.
