Off-Grid

Off-grid voyages and explorations refer to trips away from the Starweb system of wormholes, typically to solar systems not connected by stargates. Such systems are actually the vast majority within known space, though most activity remains within the wormhole network.

These voyages are long and expensive, requiring a ship with gravitational impellers and cosmodrive, capable of attaining relativistic velocities. Common destinations include scientific targets, frontier colonies, and lost worlds.
