Sonstripe Flower

Brief Overview

A beautiful flower that resembles a star. Its glow can be seen for up to 30 ft away, yet despite the fact it's fairly visible when within range it is still considered a super rare plant due to the scarcity in which it grows.

General Overview

Sonstripe flowers are not only rare because of their scarcity, but they are also rare due to years of over-harvesting. This is mainly because of the effects that this special little flower boasts. In most cases, the Forsaken, Divine servants, and even some deities will avoid this flower, though the mortals are unsure as to why. The flower itself is incredibly helpful to those with weak mental or spiritual power, however, plucking the flower has proved difficult as the thorns coating its stem cause a staggering 6-hour paralysis effect.

This flower is typically used to purify those who are tainted by impure energies. If crushed and dried, the petals of this flower can create a Herbalism potion that protects the user from Forsaken and Divine Servants possessing them by granting them strength to their mental and spiritual power, allowing them to better resist the possession attempt.
If brewed successfully into an Alchemical concoction or cooked into a meal, it will not only grant an exceptional increase to their mental and spiritual strength, but it will also reset the subjects external aura and soul state back to the state they most thrived with.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

This flower only grows at the peak of Mt. Lost in Mordu, closest to the sonlight. It is said to have purifying effects yet oddly enough, most deities will avoid it entirely.

Conservation Status

This flower is incredibly rare and it is actually illegal to pick. Those who ignore this law are punished harshly, forced to pay a 12,000 kye fine with potential jail time depending on the persecuting kingdom.
