Gvewah

Gvewah is a flowering herb found primarily in the Sundorwick Forests and the Firgenholt Wood. It can also rarely be found in other areas with an abundance of trees. These beautiful plants are small and dainty, but they yield an unexpectedly pungent- yet not unpleasant- scent. Though Gvewah resembles a tiny flower, it smells more like the herb that it is.

Though very beautiful, this plant has dangerous and drastic side effects when devoured. Eating a leaf from the Gvewah can cause short term memory loss, but consuming a whole flower can erase the knowledge of who you are completely. The more flowers you consume, the more serious the effect. In eating too many, you may soon lose memory of how to behave, how to speak, how to walk, stand, or use your limbs.
One of The Wise Woodsman will administer such to those who have rebelled against the way of The Firgenholt Natives and send them far away into Wynsumheord to survive on their own and begin a new life. This is done so that the secrets of the Firgenholt Wood, the wisdom of the Wise Woodsman and the knowledge and understanding of the Dygolyphs will be forgotten and not shared with the outside world; for the Firgenholt Woodsmen fear that, if information is leaked, enemies may be empowered to overtake their tribe and the forest they dwell within.
