This bloody thing. We can't keep the Zoo running without this license, but it is a pain in the rear. Even in the most horrific of viral outbreaks, dangerous animals escaping, and all manner of horrific incidents, we must stay open! Don't you just love that!
Why this license exists... I couldn't tell you. We have asked the Zoological Collections Ministry countless times, but they just won't tell us.
License Details
There are a few key aspects of the license that particularly bother
Rox, the Zoo's founder.
The main issue is that we have to stay open for
10 hours a day,
every day of the year. Each day is 20 hours long, and each year is 200 days long. Our
zookeepers rotate and work around half a year, giving them plenty of time to pursue personal interests and hobbies. Unfortunately, Rox works every day of the year, which puts a lot of pressure on her.
The license grants us permission to put individual sectors of the Zoo on lockdown. Each sector is millions of miles away from others, accessible through
portals. In cases of emergencies, we put sectors on lockdown, forcing visitors out so whatever issues can be handled privately.
Trode Bear Escape
Possibly the most horrendous event to ever have occurred in the Zoo was when our two trode bears escaped. These are easily some of the most dangerous animals in the entire Yonderverse, and it forced us to put countless sectors on lockdown.
These giant, laser-shooting bears figured out how to operate our portals, for goodness sake. Thankfully, the bears were apprehended and the enclosure reinforced. We have not had an escape since.
Viral Outbreak
Two hundred years ago we suffered a horrific viral outbreak, that affected millions of visitors. A mysterious tourist brought a deadly pathogen to the Zoo, which affected our animals, the people taking care of them, and our visitors.
We suspect it was a biological attack, and that the host was paid to deliver the virus to the Zoo. Nevertheless, it caused great outrage and has been the only time we have completely shut down the Zoo since the license was enforced.
Mochi....Laser bears!?! I want to meet them!!! I demand these adorable danger friends get an article either if a prompt fits in camp, or after camp!! (unless one already exists) cause they sound so awesome!!!! Also the viral outbreak, whoever did that is terrible, I hate them, how dare they try and make all the cute animal friends ill so mean. Really cool license and some crazy stipulations but I mean I could see these stipulations though. Governing bodies are wild, and put absurd stipulations on all kinds of things.
I will definitely write about trode bears if a prompt fits! You'll see more of this virus soon! :D
