Maibaya Falls
This waterfall is a massive jet of fresh water that seemingly springs forth from the side of a cliff face, but entirely evaporates before it reaches the tall canopy of the jungle below. The word Maibaya translates to Mists of Life in Chultan and many legends state that this waterfall is the source of life for the entire peninsula. To a certain extent this legend is true, since the water is infused with primordial energy which allows for life to flourish.
Behind the waterfall lies a puzzle door that leads into an ancient Sarrukh ruin called the Halls of Creation. It was within these halls that the creator race engineered new forms of life through biological engineering combined with arcane manipulation. These ruins have never been plundered by any who lived to tell the tale and are guarded by powerful creatures and enchantments. The contents of such a ruin would be worth a fortune to any who found it and returned.
