Malwe-Sha

Malwe has been the high priestess of Sune in the House of Divine Beauty for the past five years. She has refined the temple prostitution services to the point where only the very well off can seek these services, and she hires only the most beautiful men and women, both native and exotic, to work there. She is a great patron of the arts within the city, hiring painters to maintain the murals and frescoes that decorate Nyanzaru’s walls and buildings, and she has improved and expanded the bathhouses which the temple of Sune maintains for the city, earning her the love of the people. Commonly acknowledged as the most beautiful woman in Chult, she often greets important foreign dignitaries who are important to the financial health of the city, and works closely with Sibonseni of Waukeen. (Crude rumors claim that this relationship is closer than it is.)
As the High Priestess of Sune, Malwe attends all the major city events with her coterie of husbands who also act as her guards. She tosses the garlands of grace to open each gladiatorial event in the arena, and every summer blesses the various markets in the city with Sune’s prayer of grace and promise of beauty. She is inaccessible to the common folk, to be seen and admired but not to be interacted with, however the many priests and priestesses of the temple are available for consultations. Lessons in oil paints, poetry, music, and fashion as well as the more earthly pleasures are available at the House of Divine Beauty for those who can afford them. All payments are considered offerings to Sune.
