Merchant Prince Ifan Talro'a

Ifan Talro’a is a greedy, conniving man supported by influential and dangerous friends among the Zhentarim. He is jealous of Wakanga O’tamu’s magical power and Ekene-Afa’s reputation from the arena. Talro’a sells animals that can be trained as mounts or pets, including dinosaurs and flying monkeys. The yuan-ti of Omu secretly pay Talro’a to warn them if treasure hunters are headed south into the deep jungle. He uses flying snakes as messengers. Talro’a doesn’t know for certain that the messages go to yuan-ti, but he strongly suspects it.
Ifan has no family and no close relationships. He is naturally distrustful of everyone. His villa is located just outside Goldenthrone upon Throne Hill. Ifan has decorated his villa and gardens with relics and vases plundered from Chultan ruins. In edition to this, colorful flying snakes swoop and glide through the spacious hallways of the villa.

Ifan's Beasts

Ifan Talro'a employs dozens of merchants throughout as spies and to sell domesticated beasts from pens he owns. These beasts can be used as companions, mounts, or pack animals. He also has flying snakes trained as messengers, but sells them only to members of the Zhentarim.

Ifan Talro'a will rarely engage in combat, even if in danger. He prefers to let his hired bodyguards do the fighting. But if it comes down to it, Ifan is a neutral evil Chultan human noble with the following changes:

• Instead of a rapier, Ifan wields a +1 dagger. 
• When Ifan goes out in public, he always carries a small packet of dust of disappearance to assist him in escaping from enemies.
