Employment Agreement
This Agreement is entered into and effective as of this
24 of
Ziri,
666 by and between ____________________ (“Employee”), and Heist & Co. (“Employer”) at, collectively (“we”, “our”, “the parties”).
RESPONSIBILITIES
The employee will be responsible for completing any work assignments that will include, but not be limited to:- Reconnaissance
- Security
- Research
- Combat
RESPONSIBILITIES OF BOTH PARTIES
EMPLOYEE
Employee responsibilities are as follows:
- Represent Heist and Co. throughout Delesia
- Share all information gathered during an assignment with Heist & Co
EMPLOYER
The employer has the following responsibilities:
- Maintain employee confidentiality.
- Make clear that you reserve the right to refuse assignments for any reason.
- Providing information necessary for the proper completion of each assignment
- Sharing extrapolated information received from the completion of assignments upon request.
ASSIGNMENTS
ACCEPTANCE
Each assignment accepted by the Employee from Heist and Co will be respectably completed by the employee.
REFUSING ASSIGNMENTS
While each employee has the right to refuse any assignment. Refusal of an assignment will result in a penalty fee of 15% of the assignment. This fee will vary by assignment.
PAYMENT
While on an assignment the Employee will receive a 2 GP per day, in addition to the completion reward assigned to each assignment.
PARTY
Safety of employees is important at Heist and Co., as such each employee is assigned to join a group (“party”) of individuals for mission completion.
The employee will be a member of the party known as The Legion of the Shield and Lamp. Members of this party shall include:
- Galena MoonRose Heist - Fairy Wizard Artificer
- Laylock - Warforge Barbian Druid
- Meltrin VIII - Half Elf Cleric Rogue
- Jassin - Half Goliath Druid Fighter
- Kharbek - Undead Samurii
- George - Human Bard Artificer
This party shall occasionally be accompanied by Nori Heist, Mariah Chalice Tarakona, and one Remy Fasa.
TERMINATION
The Employer and the Employee agree that the Employee’s employment is at will. As such, this agreement is subject to termination by the Employee or the Employer at any time with or without notice, and with or without cause. Nothing in this agreement, or in any Employer’s policies or procedures, should be interpreted to eliminate the at-will employment status of the Employee.
The termination date specified by either the employee or the employer may expire on any day of the month and upon the Termination Date, the Employer will forthwith pay to the Employee any outstanding portion of the compensation including any accrued vacation and banked time, if any, calculated to the Termination Date.
If a notice has been given by either party for any reason, the employee and the Employer agree to execute their duties and obligations under this Agreement diligently and in good faith through to the end of the notice period. The Employer may not make any changes to compensation or any other term or condition of this agreement between the time termination notice is given through to the end of the notice period.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Employer agrees to keep the identity and background of each employee completely confidential and protected.
The Employee acknowledges that they may be privy to confidential information including but not limited to
- Information regarding the location of various important people
- Future plans
- Security information
DEATH
The employee is aware that there is a chance they may die during assignments. Death does not necessarily mean the end of a contract. Compensation to the party and the individual's family (If applicable) of 5000 GP. To be split up however the party and individual's family decide.
STATEMENTS OF INTENT AND RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
Employee to enter into this Agreement. The Agreement and release made pursuant to this paragraph shall bind Employee’s heirs, executors, personal representatives, successors, assigns, and agents.
Employee agrees that Employer may provide Employee with other sources of information, and items to be used during assignments. The Employee understands that Employer makes no warranties as to accuracy nor reliability of such information. The employee will not hold the Employer liable for any incident or consequential damages resulting from use or affiliation with such materials.
Employee agrees to independently assess any decisions, actions, or inactions resulting from or relating to the employment experience.
BETRAYAL
In the event that the contract is breached on either end:
- In the event that Heist Co. Breaches the contract a payment in the amount of 500 GP will be paid by the responsible party.
- In the event that the party breaches the contract, payment in the amount of 500 GP will be due.
