Magic/Magick/Vudo
While everyone in the world is capable of some low level magic, things most commonly refered to as cantrips, there are those that are born with the ability to access greater magicks.
Most of the magic of Aegimius rests in the weave, the body and the soul of the goddess of magic, Hirta. A constant give and take between the Goddess and practioners.
For most using magic costs very little, an exchange of a small prayer, gratitude, belief or acknowledgement. For others, those capable of the large magicks, they form a sort of bond, where their magic serves as a reserve for tboth them and the Goddess to use as either sees fit.
Magical Beings

Creatures like Dragons, Chimera, Griffons, Unicorns, the Fae and others, are naturally magical and have access to greater magics then most humans, as do their descendents. Vampires and their kin will often turn towards blood magic after they are turned unless they had a decent command of magic before their turning.
Demi Gods
There are rumors of Demi-Gods existing, people who have access to more magic then dragons or any other creatures of the material plane. These beings are said to be the product of a god mating, or creating a family and giving up part of their power to them.
I see now why Hirta fell when magic was cut off from Fika. She relied so heavily on her connection to us, and our pools of magic....the very pools of magic she gave us....I've noticed they grow as our families get bigger.

Magic Users
A clerics, paladins or warlocks magic comes purely from a deal they have struck with a god or other powerful being. Generally one with magic reserves of their owne that the entitity will grant the individual access too.
Take Hades for example. As a Tiefling, he has a small bit of personal magic at his disposal. By making a deal with the Masked Spector, Hades can now use the Masked Spector's magic reserves to cast a limited number of spells.
Hades' wife Harmony, on the other hand, gains her magical abilities from a god as a Paladin, and while still only having a limited amount of magic is able to cast stronger spells then Hades more regularly.
