Session 02: The Chase Report
General Summary
Half an hour after the chase begins Bob/Jade is able to find an alley to change back into Bob. As the man giving chase comes to an intersection he can't find Jade any longer. Marcus and Belladonna stop short of him and when he notices he runs into a crowd, and vanishes from sight heading west. Bob catchs up to Marcus and Belladonna in the intersection and mentions he found this strange letter near where he was knocked into in an alley.
The rain picks up, and a lightning bolt strikes the school grounds. Belladonna finds a student summoning the storm. Professor Thumbwick is standing at a window taking notes. Belladonna tells on the student. Professor Thumbwick says they are testing out a new invention from Bryn Murden.
Goldie gets a pretzel bun from Marcus. Asks about the woman. Marcus doesn't have any information, but mentions that Bob was going to check on her. Goldie heads off after Bob. Bob and Goldie get to Dr Cydnie's shop. Bob goes in. Smells Delicate, otherworldly perfume, his eyes start to itch, hears the jangle of chains. Bob looks to the left where he heard the chains and sees an open door.
"Hello? I was wanting to check in on that patient that I brought in earlier?"
The Doctor walks out with blood on his apron and cleaning what looks like blood off of his hands. Bob finds out that Jade died. Bob accuses the Doctor of killing Jade. Doctor Cydnie accuses Bob, Belladonna and Marcus of killing Jade. The doctor calls the guards.
Heavy footfall is heard heading for the shop. Bob and Goldie head out.
Lyra is the referred to name of a leader to a secret underground organization in the city. Head to the theater where they are currently in the process of producing the Lost city of Maulerocc. Courier sent to find Lord Gunthur, sent to find a Cohnal Vastina.
Bob is tapping in Thieves Cant. As the courier leaves, Bob hears tapping in response. Bob asks if the individual knows a Lyra, as a letter was found addressed to her on the street.
Yes.
A secret door on the side of the theater opens. As they walk in everything is very unusually quiet. Goldie heads to find candles for Donna.
About 10 minutes later Bob finds himself in a tunnel that's dripping with breezes that come and go, and smells that change. Dragonborn's name is Soren, knocks on the door, introduces Bob, and gestures for Bob to go in. Bob has a conversation with Lyra after she reads the letter about needing to fight Fetid Health. Mentions that there have been reports of an unusual number of individuals visiting several doctors and not coming out alive. Doctors Janek, Sachin, and Jackard are throught to be involved with Dr Cydnie and what ever is going on.
Goldie asks about candles for Donna after she realizes that this is not a candle shop. A dwarven woman says Kioni owns a candle shop. East from the south market square.
Bob mentions Chains and a weird smelling perfume. Lyra asks for more information on the smell. Bob says he can't fully describe it but he will be able to recognize it if he smells it again.
Goldie and the dwarf woman are dancing while the goblin continues to laugh.
Bob and Goldie head out to find Marcus and Donna.
