Dracipava

The dracipava are a bizarre and nightmarish fairy subspecies with a lifecycle similar to that of a mayfly and mantis combined... or at least, that's what it's supposed to be. Some of them avoid this lifecycle through a lifestyle of asexuality, allowing themselves to live far longer than the standard 24-hour period that their kind typically survives.
