Kirei

Kirei are an abundant flower in the meadows of Zukei . These plants normally grow very tall, with their thick stems and large silky leaves. Kirei have some of the largest blooms. Blooms have large colorful petals to attract pollinators. Petals have a stripe down the center that matches the inside of the flower. The middle of the flower blooms into fluff as the seeds develop. Their seeds are incredibly light and easily spread, allowing them to sow themselves in abundance. While floating, the seeds vaguely resemble small butterflies flying through the air in dark clouds. While the flowers are beautiful, it is the seeds that hold magical properties, used for various spells and brews that alter one’s vision.
