Dragonborn

Not actually descendant from dragons, the dragonborn are rather a parallel race created by primordials rather than gods. They belonged on Aber - the planet that occupies the same time and space as Toril but is shifted in another dimension. Their homeland was ripped from Aber and into Toril during the Spellplague and was permanently set there during the Second Sundering.
The dragonborn are distinctly in the same ten colours that encompass almost all dragons: brass (fire), copper (lightning), gold(fire), iron(acid), silver (cold), black (acid), blue (lightning), green(poison), red (fire) and white (cold).
