Tymora
Goddess of Luck
Born from an old god who entered the Realms from a different pantheon, Tymora is one of the most popular deities. She's also sometimes considered part of the halfling pantheon due to her connection to luck. In fact, some halflings believe that she's actually a halfling deity all along and has just tricked the big folk into worshipping her as well.
Worshippers
Those who engage in games of chance, seek out danger, or just hope for a better lot in life often pray to Tymora. The clergy encourages people to follow their dreams and take leaps of faith. Which may or may not pan out. The fact that many adventurers seek out Tymora's temples and shrines for healing, scrolls, and magic items means a lot of them are quite wealthy.Divine Domains

Personal history
Originally, Tymora was an aspect of Tyche - the original goddess of luck. Tyche was once tricked by the now assumed to be dead god Morander to accept a rose that drove her insane and corrupted. Having no choice to end the goddess' corruption, Selûne intervened and split Tyche into using a purifying bolt of light: Beshaba, the goddess of misfortune, and Tymora, the goddess of good fortune.
Intellectual Characteristics
Tymora remains ever fickle and might change her mind about someone or something at any time. But sometimes she uses shifts in luck to teach mortals a lesson in how they must rely on more than her to get ahead.
Social
Contacts & Relations
Sages have claimed that Tymora has fostered many brief trysts with good-aligned deities, always ending them amicably when her attentions were drawn elsewhere. She is known to count Baravar Cloakshadow (gnome god of illusion and deception), Dugmaren Brightmantle (dwarven god of scholarship and invention), Erevan Ilesere (elven god of mischief), Finder Wyvernspur (demigod known as the Nameless Bard), Garl Glittergold (main god of the gnomes), Haela Brightaxe (dwarven demigod of battle and luck), Hanali Celanil (elven goddess of love and beauty), Lathander (god of dawn and creation), Marthammor Duin (dwarven god of wanderers), Selûne (goddess of the moon), Shaundakul (lesser deity of travelers), and Vergadain (dwarven exarch of luck and trickery) as her allies and potentially partners.
Beshaba is, of course, her fiercest foe, but she also holds some enmity for Bane and Moander. Though she holds no malice towards them, she occasionally play tricks and pranks on the more staid deities, such as Helm and Tyr.
