Ianthe Meletitís is reunited with her father Asími Kallitéchnis and mother Ianessa Meletitís under less than ideal circumstances. The group also discovers that Phlios Meletitís is still alive and being taken deeper into the caverns towards the refuge of Eleusis.

The group is also introduced to Saarl, a Kobolds paladin.
