6: A Skor to Settle
General Summary
Upon arrival at Skor, the party met a surprisingly small and friendly town going on hard times. Having been informed of the impending Kobold forces, the town leaderships asked the party for help in dealing with the threat. However, before the night ends, they discover the town is under a more sinister spell, causing horrible night terrors throughout the town.
While the towns people are asleep and suffering their nightmares, the party spots lights off the nearby island. The local priest Enio insists the island is well known and completely unremarkable. Upon exploring however, they come upon an underground cave system which led them to a network of cellars below the town. The townsfolk have no recollection of this place, even though most buildings have a basement entry that leads right in.
The party fought grotesque Slaadi beneath the town, and encountered a pair of Hags which taunted them, severely damaged the party with a barrage of lightning, and then scampered off, murdering a poor local townsfolk to cover and distract from their departure into the woods before dawn broke.
