Grafton

Grafton is a small, isolated town located at the edge of The Boiling Sands. The city is built into the side of a mountain, with towering walls and fortifications that protect it from the harsh desert environment and the dangers that lurk beyond. The town is sparsely populated, with more space than inhabitants. Despite its isolated nature and relatively sparse population, the city is a melting pot of cultures, with people from all over the region coming to trade, do business, and seek refuge from the unforgiving desert.
Because of the harsh conditions, anyone hoping to live in Grafton must be resourceful and hard-working. They have developed unique technologies and strategies to survive and thrive in the desert, such as wind turbines and underground aqueducts. The city is also home to a specialized market, where traders sell everything from spices and textiles to exotic animals and artifacts.
However, life in Grafton is not without its challenges. The city is constantly under threat from sandstorms, raiders, and other dangers that lurk in the desert. The people of Grafton are a tough and resilient bunch, but they know that survival in the desert is never guaranteed.
