Tabaxi

The primary residents of the The Boiling Sands are a reclusive race of humanoid feline people. They are mostly peaceful but are capable warriors when needed. They do not attack intelligent species without provocation. These people are curious and inquisitive, caring for the accumulation of knowledge and understanding over any form of wealth. Consequently, they have very few belongings but always seek out new and fascinating discoveries, stories, or artifacts…which they quickly discard when the mystery is over.
Their society structure is built around a clan system. Each clan has about a dozen individuals about equal in gender ratio, and each clan is also divided up into hunts of varying sized from 2 to about 8 individuals. These hunts patrol the area around their clan lair. Each clan is led by an elder and sometimes a shaman as well, who oversee the hunt leaders. Known clans inclue the Stonepaw, Skysong, Stormcrest, Sandstalker, and Moonpeak Clans, and the most notabel clans residing in Grafton, the Emmissaries of Crossed Paths, and Melodic Stride Clans.
Evil or degenerate Tabaxi clans such as The Scorchfang and Sunfire Clans are led by powerful warriors known as Tabaxi Lords. While usually solitary, a Tabaxi Lord will sometimes take control of a clan to ensure offspring, which are always male and always grow to be the powerful cursed form of the Tabaxi, a Tabaxi Lord. Clans led by such a creature are warlike, cunning, and ruthless.
Tabaxi do not trade, as they consider it to be demeaning. Although, they may use an agent to trade for them in rare circumstances.
