Therasis

The Dwarves were here long before any of the other races. They lived in the snowy south, digging in the frozen earth for the rare minerals and gems that are often found there. They piled their worth and their tinkerers and master smiths developed amazing new technologies.
As their culture grew, they began to adorn their tall towers with the rare jewels they unearthed. This got the attention of a greedy red dragon, who’s renamed himself Thraxis, in honor of his newly claimed treasure hoard.
The Dwarves that once lived here have become refugees.
