Alphaverse

For a lack of a better name, our most expansive universe (where several of our stories take place) is known as the Alphaverse.   Think of the Alphaverse a sort of alternate universe type world, where Earth exists, but so does magic and a variety of planets, races, and even an entirely different plane. It's hard to describe how expansive it really is, even with a few paragraphs.   It's main features are the existence of the Material Plane, our plane, and the Other Plane, or the demon plane. The Other Plane heavily mirrors the Material Plane, drawing inspiration from it for everything from food to buildings to culture to even the "people" that reside there.   Magic exists, but it exists counter to soul expression. Furthermore, magic can be split into two categories: Innate Magic, which are magical abilities that a creature is naturally born with, and Extrate Magic, which is the art of manipulating the energy in the air through spell circles to create different results.   Soul expression is a little different. It's far more restrictive in what it can do, and only seems to emerge in mortals as opposed to demons. It's much rarer as well, and tends to manifest as psychic abilities. Rarer and powerful forms of soul expression become more varied and specialized.
