The small but quite fortified settlement of Ozryn had been hidden away from the Humans, but the founding of Queenstown led scouts to discover it and the humans to press the attack...

The settlement of Queenstown was being built to house the growing population of Humans, it was being named for Yarri's wife, so the city at the time was named Ellira for her. Scouts were sent out to explore further along the coast and past the woods which up till then had been the furthest they had ventured. The Humans believed the Elves likely had settlements all over the continent but didn't know of any this far East. The scouts returned with news of a small but well defended settlement. It sat right on the coast, with large fishing docks and ships bigger than any the Humans had. Yarri knew this was a chance to capture a key weapon, ships, troops could be moved quickly along the coast, they could explore further around the continent, and the Elves wouldn't be able to use their knowledge of the land to their advantage.   Yarri sent a force of one thousand men, a larger army than had ever been formed in known history, to travel along the coast and take the Elvish settlement.   When the Humans arrived they charged into battle, weapons raised high and stormed the outer areas of the town. The Elves had no idea what was happening as they knew little about the Humans. The few Elvish guards and mages there fought well against the attack, with their weapons and armour being superior to that of the Humans. However, the greater numbers prevailed and the town was taken, the fighters didn't give chase to the many Elves who fled into the woods, not knowing the land well enough to venture after.   The town was taken and with the aid of Yarrin and Queenstown the settlement grew as the third of a growing number of Human controlled locations.
