Adraenac is a village in the province of Gallia, an important centre for forestry and trade. Located in the eastern reaches, it is the final stop on the Trade Way to the province of Tungri or the Redrock Pass. Most of the finest wood used by Gallic craftspeople is sourced from the woods north of the river bend, an ancient old growth forest. The Vites river runs through the middle of the village, a shallow and slow moving ribbon in the deep forests of the region. The locals are industrious and generous, community-minded but also very provincial. Despite regular traffic along the Trade Way, the people here feel like they live in their own small pocket of the world, safely hidden within the trees.
