Description

This chain is made of interlocking metal links roughly an inch long, and thick enough to bear large amounts of weight. It has Hardness 10 and 5 hit points. It can be burst with a DC 26 Strength check.

Adamantine: Adamantine chain has Hardness 20 and 6 hit points. A successful DC 30 Strength check is required to burst it, making it strong enough to hold many types of Giants.

Mithral: Mithral chain has Hardness 15 and 5 hit points, and only weighs 1 pound per 10 feet. A successful DC 28 Strength check is required to burst it, making it strong enough to hold most lesser types of Giants.

Breakaway: These masterwork chains are easy to break, even though they look like normal chains (Perception DC 25 to notice the difference). A DC 10 Strength check breaks them instantly.
