You and all your gear become insubstantial, misty, and translucent, assuming the shape of a Colossal cloud with a space of 30 feet and gaining the effects of Gaseous Form. You choose the general appearance of the cloud (white, stormy, fluffy, flat, and so on) when the spell is cast, after which your appearance cannot be changed. Even the closest inspection cannot reveal that the cloud in question is actually a magically concealed creature. To all normal tests you are, in fact, a cloud, although a detect magic spell reveals a moderate transmutation aura on the cloud.
Your material armor (including natural armor) becomes worthless, though its size, Dexterity, deflection bonuses, and armor bonuses from force effects still apply. You gain DR 10/ magic and become immune to poison, sneak attacks, and critical hits. You can't attack or cast spells with verbal, somatic, material, or focus components while in Gaseous Form. This does not rule out the use of certain spells that you may have prepared using the feats Silent Spell, Still Spell, and Eschew Materials. You also lose supernatural abilities while in Gaseous Form. If you have a touch spell ready to use, that spell is discharged harmlessly when the spell takes effect.
You can't Run, but can fly at a speed of 30 feet and automatically succeed on all Fly skill checks. You can pass through small holes or narrow openings, even mere cracks, as long as the spell persists. You are subject to the effects of wind, and you can't enter water or other liquid. You also can't manipulate objects or activate items, even those carried along with you. Continuously active items remain active, though in some cases their effects may be moot.
