Imaskar
The Imaskar Empire was an ancient Human nation whose reach once extended over much of Astora. Information on the Imaskari is rare, but what is known amongst scholars is that the empire was a mageocracy led by overwhelmingly powerful wizards, whose empire ruled for millennia before coming to an abrupt and violent end during the Godswar. There is little evidence available as to the exact nature of its destruction, but the myths that pervade claim they angered the gods, who wiped them from the continent, along with most records of their existence.
