Rules & Definitions

This section contains many of the rules that govern how the game is played. From combat, to spells, to environments, to saving throws, the rules for interactions of characters, mechanics, and abilities are presented here. Most of these rules are linked to from articles that reference mechanics related to them, but they are also available here to search or browse through. Some have been categorized into sub-categories, but the broad nature of these rules and definitions means many are presented in list form.  
 

Combat Rules & Definitions

Rules pertaining directly to combat scenarios are contained here. This includes combat actions, special types of combats, and attacking and defending.  

Magic Rules & Definitions

This category has rules pertaining directly to magic spells and abilities. This includes rules on using magic items, learning spells, casting spells, and other effects directly related to magic.  

Psionics Rules & Definitions

Like above, this category pertains to psionic powers and abilities.  

Hero Points

Hero points grant special, temporary powers to characters that can be used in dire circumstances. How they are obtained and how they can be spent are covered here.  

Environments

This category contains rules on the effects of a character's environment, as well as related effects like weather.
