Six expansive continents make up the Known World. Together, their unique and breathtaking environments create the dynamic world that we all know and love.
Farahia
History embedded into the soil
Farahia is a continent of arable grasslands and rural towns. This place has little to offer in terms of wealth and resources, but its cultures predate anywhere else in the world. Geoglyphs sprawl across the lands, between farmlands spreading miles.
Best known for its agriculture and archaeology, Farahia is packed full of secrets of the past. Its largest city, Sandria, is the biggest trade hub in the world. It has direct access to three different excavation sites and quarries, which collect a range of valuable resources used worldwide.
Many towns and cities are built on the sides of large hills with flat sides, with doors, windows, and balconies poking out of rocky faces.

Important Information
Don't step foot on a farmer's land if you don't know them
Never approach a nomad carrying a sack of seeds
Gandad apples are nicer than Roan apples
When purchasing a plot of land, the first crops you grow must be poompkins
The thousands of geoglyphs might have hidden meanings, but nobody can figure them out
Gary, I have told you not to buy the damn roan apples. They taste so sour, how haven't you noticed that? Gandad apples are sooooo much nicer, so sweet and juicy.— Two shoppers

Ice Tipped Raven

The majority of Glacin is coated in a glossy blue sheen. Massive glaciers nestle between mountains, footpaths from peoples long ago burned into the sides of these rocky peaks. It is full of wildlife that not only cope, but thrive in these temperatures.
Stay clear of the North Pole unless you have appropriate clothing - its temperatures reach almost minus forty, with wind chills so cold your beak might drop off.
Despite the cold some people manage to live here. Many penguin people find comfort in the arms of one another, gathering on the coldest days in town-wide huddles.
Glacin
Farahia, but way colder
Approaching the freezing North Pole, just west of Farahia, is Glacin. This chilling continent is covered in ice and frozen plains, and it never seems to stop snowing. More than that, giant aurora grace the skies every single night, dancing above the lands.
WHY DID I NOT BRING A JACKET??
Shut up Tara. It's not that cold.
MY BEAK IS GOING TO FALL OFF!
- Freezing cold kakapo
Don't look at me like that Casuar. I told you to bring a feather coat. You said no. We can stop at the nearest incubation centre but that's not for another two miles.— Two friends, one snuggly and the other not
Auroras
Flittering in the night skies are auroras. These gorgeous displays of light occur each night. Typically forming bands and curtains of yellow, blue, green, pink, and purple light, these aurora are used as beacons by birds.
They glow much stronger in the summer time, and birds that migrate to Glacin for milder weathers will use these aurora to find their way. Tendrils of light snake out from above the continent, poking into other regions, guiding birds in.
Aera
Gracing the skies with her presence
Aera sits above the other continents, fastened down by massive vine tendrils rooted into the ground below. Where Aera has lifted up a giant chasm remains, full of rare and enchanting minerals. And resources. A certain magical aura also lingers here.
Why didn't you say you needed to stop to go to the toilet? We're halfway up the mountain now.
- A very modest podargi child
The most perplexing continent is Aera. It stands above the rest, even the mountains of Ignus Mons, high in the sky. Its cool temperatures make it an easy place to live for most, and the rolling fields and fluffy forests make it a great place for local wildlife.
The roots can be traversed, with special transport systems that climb up the tendrils to reach Aera's surface. Despite most people being able to fly, it is not expected for anyone to actually make that journey through the air.

Points of Interest
Sticky-Outy Tower
A sort of reverse-tower, the Sticky-Outy Tower points downwards into the chasm below Aera. It is mostly used to observe any unusual activity in the chasm, or for approaching enemies, of which there are none.
Sandrush Station
A train station that links directly to the outskirts of Sandy City, Sandrush Station takes its visitors through the ground and along one of the giant green tendrils. Hold on to your cup of tea, it is a bumpy ride.
Raven's Cathedral
Bestowing life upon the treacherous terrains is Raven's Cathedral. It sits within the centre of a hilly region, with crooked boulders sticking out every which way. Mind the mudfields too.
Verdant Mudfields
The Verdant Mudfields are an expansive marshland around northern Aera. It spreads through three countries and takes up almost two hundred thousand square kilometres of thick, grassy mud.

Silvara is a nightmare to traverse. The trees grow too fast that it is very difficult to navigate, as the forests are constantly changing. Silvara's northern temperate woodlands are most popular; their cool climates and generally sparse trees make flying a breeze.
Maps are worthless around here. Magical compasses can be linked to certain landmarks, which are used to navigate. Most people have internal compasses, but these aren't fully reliable, as their brains have become focused on other things. The burdens of being smart.
Silvara
Help, I can't see through these trees
Almost all of Silvara is forest. Rainforests, temperate and coniferous forests all sit neatly besides one another, climates blending together to the point where nobody knows if it will hail, storm, or sunshine the next day. Bring a raincoat and some sunscreen.
Dave this isn't funny. We are LOST. Why did you think this'd be a good idea??
- Distressed psittaci
(Some) Forests of Silvara
Ruby Glades
Scattered crimson-leaved trees with pockets of open grasslands make up the Ruby Glades. The paradisal lakes shimmer in the sunlight, with flickering lights bouncing along the gentle waves.
Leafy Greens
A heavenly forest of majestic mature trees, the Leafy Greens is thousands of years in the making. It is a historical landmark where bird-made structures are forbidden.
Oh butts, I'm lost. Was it a left by that big tree? Or a right after those two little trees? But I remember passing that bush. And those vines I've not seen before. Oh gosh, I'm really lost.— Lost wanderer
Ignus Mons
Hotter than your mum
Ignus Mons is a collection of thousands of volcanic islands. The largest island, Ignus Melior, spurts lava almost daily, seeping into the oceans and forming land bridges to other islands. The high temperatures have brought about vibrant wildlife.
You shouldn't traverse certain islands in Ignus Mons without proper equipment and training, especially not by foot. All the major and minor islands in this continent have a colour classification, shown on any map.
Red islands should not be approached, amber islands need training and proper equipment before landing on, while green islands are completely safe for amateurs.

Kwak
Famed explorer of the treacherous islands around Ignus Mons, Kwak is a hero. His life was sadly cut short soon after a freak earthquake on a rocky island far away from any help. According to legends passed around, the earthquake caused a giant boulder was headed his way. He managed to duck out of the way, but a giant catfish rose out of the seawater, snapping him up whole.
Some are convinced that Kwak is not gone. Several reports of a duck person travelling around the world in a thick black cloak have spread around. Did he actually die?

Sandy City lights up at night. The boiling heat burns down during the day, while a cool breeze floats through the deserts and badlands. Cities awaken at dusk and people head to work as the sun goes to bed.
You won't just find people in these cities. Dark corridors woven through giant cities are home to an assortment of opportunistic critters, ready to rummage through trash and dig up tossed food. Some take pity on these animals and take them into their homes, only to become chaotic pets that destroy all of their furniture.
Sandy City
Bustling night-life
Confusingly named, Sandy City is the least populated continent. No one is well designed for life in deserts, yet many manage. A large desert sits in the middle of the continent, surrounded by badlands, with rushing waterfalls splitting up sparse forests.
Noooo that quilt cost five thousand qennies!!
- Distraught podargi yelling at his pet lyfeline
Daniiiii, why did you make us fly the long way?
You're the one who needed a toilet break because you refuse to drop one out in the sky.
— A pair of podargi flying to Sansara, a major city
(Some) Countries Overview
Sansas: A large country occupying almost a third of Sandy City.
Sabula: A recently formed country that split off the east of Sansas.
Cavarna: Formed on a gigantic cave system. May collapse in on itself at any point in time.
Garnat: An island nation off the northwestern coast of Cavarna.
Inari: A tiny nation entirely within a large canyon. Only accessible by flight. Sorry, sphenisci.
A two weeks well spent! :D Look forward to learning more about the different regions as your world develops. <3
Thank you so much! :D
