Lightring Lantern

Lightring lanterns are a specialised lantern that emits no heat but illuminates the local atmosphere. They sit on the necks of people mid-flight and help guide them during nights, by spreading so much light that they can navigate through dense forests at high speeds.   These lanterns are powered by light mites, who emit light through kinetic energy. This is not animal abuse - the light mites really love being thrown about in their tiny chambers.
