The Bombing of Oseka

"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, but fear not..." are the last words that Nanatu ever heard on the planet of Kivria before her death. It was also heard by viewers worldwide who had the misfortune of tuning in to watch Nanatu deliver the Meridian Observatory's latest news.
The quote, spoken by the pilot carrying bombs, who couldn't resist taunting the terrified Astris radioing him, comes directly from the mouth of Gafir on behalf of the Ida. It is meant to reassure the population of Kivria that their afterlives are secure and there is nothing more for the Kivrian to fear at the conclusion of the Astris Genocide.
None of those killed immediately by the bombing made it to the afterlife, bodies and spirits obliterated entirely.
