Mnorh for Tilgish Freedom and Equality

A loose association of Mnorh that feel the time for slavery has ended. It is the only group on Ziln made up of Khuzgish and Tilgish voluntarily working together instead of separately at assigned levels of tasks.   Slavery started because the Talgar family (the ancestors of the modern Tilgish) betrayed the Kurko family (the ancestors of the Khuzgish) in a battle against alien invaders. To this day no one remembers why the Talgar clan leader betrayed the Mnorh. But they executed the Talgar traitors upon discovery. Their families didn't know of the betrayal. Out of mercy, the Kurko clan made a way for the families of those executed to be spared and cared for, if they would become servants in the Kurko houses. The Talgar agreed to the compromise.   Two generations after the Kurko-Talgar war, Mhnor of a common mind formed the association.

Culture

Shared customary codes and values

Both sides of the master and slave line in this group agree that the government should abolish the slave system.

Khuzgish members feel that just because the Kurko family defeated the rebellion of the Talgar family and established a way to dominate but also care for the descendants of the battle's losers, doesn't mean the system should continue for the future. The system creates a financial imbalance that won't be sustainable in the long term. The Tilgish are rapidly increasing and the Khuzgish population is in decline because of technological advances and personal choice.

Tilgish feel that the Kurko justly punished their ancestors for the rebellion. But future generations should not continue to pay for a crime they did not commit. Many care for the Khuzgish families they serve, but would like more control over their own lives.

Those outside of the group (both Tilgish and Khuzgish) look down upon the unorthodox view, and feel the system is working. So, why mess with something that has served all Mnorh well for generations.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

Since the group isn't mainstream, they meet in secret so they can air their views and plan whom to contact next hoping to convert them to their way of thinking. If they can convince much of the ruling counsel, they'll have a voice and a decent chance of making change.   Their meeting place symbol is two round rocks stacked on top of each other.
