Nishlath Ban

The name translates to Bowl of Life. Nestled in the protected basin of converging mountain ranges, the Mnorh population took refuge from the desolation that came after Gnar killed the fellow gods that betrayed him. Before their murders, the elder gods had warned the Khuzgish of the instability of the planet and the need to evacuate before life ceased to exist there. They pointed out a star that had a stable, habitable planet called Atrala.   When the new gods came, they encouraged the Khuzgish to develop the technology to escape the dying planet. But ships weren’t built in time to save the entire population.

A terrible decision of who would remain loomed over the Khuzgish leaders, who decided in secret to abandon the Tilgish. They even lied to most of the Khuzgish population about the fate of their slaves, for fear some factions might insist on waiting and thus doom the entire race. The majority of the Khuzgish didn't know about the betrayal until after they woke up after the voyage. To curb their guilt, the leaders were the ones to care for those in cryo-sleep. Only their children survived to relay the horrific tale to those who emerged from hibernation.   Shortly after the Khuzgish abandoned Ziln, the Tilgish concentrated themselves near the Loch of Nishlath Ban, using the old mansions for their houses, they let the rest of the city to turn to rubble over the millennia. They barely scraped by as a people, their population dwindling by the year.   On the fertile planet of Atrala, the Khuzgish built a new city and insisted on calling it Ay Nishlath Ban. Some still hope to return and learn the fate of the Tilgish.
