Spark

Sparks are a type of intrinsic resonance found in Einya, where they are considered living beings. Unlike most occurrences of intrinsic resonance, sparks are capable of free thoughts with varying levels of intelligence. Generally speaking, they have immaterial but visible bodies that emit a dim pulsating light. Their body shapes and sizes vary greatly from variety to variety. Sparks are a core part of The Great Chant religion.

Origin

Sparks resonate from the intrinsic plane of the planet itself. This means that, even though they tend to stay close to certain objects or places, they are not intrinsically tied to them. Instead, it seems that they might just individually enjoy certain places and activities more than others.
Einya has a stable number of sparks, which means that whenever one fade, a new one is created. Sparks can fade at will or by the actions of an arcanist. It's theorized that if the planet's intrinsic levels ever decreased, the total number of sparks would also decrease.
