Demon well

The demon well was made by the Elders themselves to entrap the soul of demons and devils that Are to dangerous to be left alone. The details of its creation are unknown.

This item has charges equal to 2 x character level + wisdom modifier of anyone who tries to use it. A character holding the demon well can attempt to trap a fiend by making a wisdom check opposed to the fiends dexterity check, if the character is successful the fiend is sucked into the well. The demon well can hold the soul of fiends with total CR equal to the charge of the item. If the item is passed to a character so that the new charge is lower than the total CR, the most recent demon set in the well escapes and appears in a empty space within 20 feet of the well.
